Because of their fragility, stone, marbles and granites are difficult to handle and often they must be restored. The latest technique has proposed a perfect solution, in order to reduce the production scraps using the epoxy resins with and without glass fibres.
DUNA-Corradini responds to the sector requirements with its DUNAPOX IM line. This line meets all the requirements concerning the treatment of marble slabs, including when they have to be reinforced with a fibreglass net.
The treatment of granite slabs with epoxy resins requires specific abilities, so as to maintain their natural colours and deal with their impregnation problems. Moreover, a new line called DUNAPOX IM Granito has been created in order to consolidate and preserve the slabs. It is also possible to consolidate whole blocks of granite utilizing specific equipment and techniques. In this way there will be fewer production scraps and the block will not break during the cutting process.
