CORAFOAM® Special foams is the avant-garde of our foam production. Every one of them is a uniquely developed foam that contains our best know how in order to solve a particular problem.
An example of our Special Foams is CORAFOAM® PB 50 M1-HC, the most reliable PIR foam approved in extreme cryogenic applications.
Being developed in 2003 to face the ban of HCFCs blowing agents in the European Union, this PIR foam rapidly became a key product for the insulation of the LNG Terminals worldwide thanks to its excellent performances at the operative working temperatures of these plants (-165° to +40°C).
R&D of PB 50 M1-HC has been done focusing on the most strict insulation specs for industrial plants including CINI 2.07.01 and SHELL DEP 30.46.00.31 which are both fully complied.
This special PIR foam is supported by a complete set of 3rd party Lab certifications, and has been successfully installed in various LNG plants, like:
Together with our foams, we also offer a service to produce our polyurethane foam in the most faraway places in the world: PEGASUS™ Mobile Foaming Units, machines that can be easily shipped and transported.
Our technicians bring abroad our technology and make the Units work, and both production and supervision remain under the strict control of DUNA-Corradini, assuring the best quality of foam wherever it is needed.
An example of these kind of very special foams is the Fiberglass Reinforced Foam (CORAFOAM® RV), that combines an extreme lightness and insulation to a very strong resistance.
