Sales Area Manager - North West Italy - 25.01.2023
DUNA CORRADINI is looking for a SALES AREA MANAGER within the MARKETING & SALES Department of its DUNAPACK® Division, specialized in the production and supply of protective and filling packaging on demand. The role will report directly to the Sales Manager and will deal with the Italian market, in particular the North-West Area.
The ideal figure must have gained many years of sales experience in Companies in the Packaging industry, in particular in the segment of plastic protective packaging.
Main responsibilities
- enter new markets in the North-West of Italy area (Lombardy, Piedmont, Liguria and Valle d'Aosta) by identifying new customers, expanding business segments, development business chances and carry out commercial scouting activities;
- create a solid network with newly acquired customers, maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through regular commercial visits and digital contacts;
- ensure the constant updating of customers on the launch of new products and any updates in the company range, carrying out technical training activities at the customer's premises if necessary;
- retrieve information and provide feedback on product innovations or entry of new competitors on the market, to contribute to the optimization of existing products and the development of new solutions;
- stay updated on company products and industry news by participating to fairs, consulting market research and industry benchmark case study;
- assess the financial solvency of its direct clients and share this information with the company Credit Manager;
- respect the annual sales budget, arranged and shared with the Sales Manager, in accordance with the company's goals
Requirements
- Degree in scientific or economics fields or technical diploma
- Good Knowledge of English
- Excellent knowledge of IT tools and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power point)
- Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills and ability to create contacts and relationship networks
- Attitude to leadership and team working
- Goal-oriented work approach and performance-based evaluation
- Residence in Lombardy
