DUNA FOR CARPINSCIENZA 2025: “TRACCE”

15.09.2025

From September 22nd to 30th, CarpInScienza returns, the Festival dedicated to Science and Technological Innovation. Organized by five secondary schools in Carpi and sponsored every year by many companies as well as by DUNA Group.

The five secondary schools of Carpi (MO)—Fanti, Vallauri, Da Vinci, Nazareno, and Meucci—are teaming up once again to create CarpInScienza 2025, the city festival dedicated to the dissemination of science and technological innovation among students and residents.

Now in its 10th edition, CarpInScienza has become an awaited event for the city of Carpi, attracting over 80,000 attendees over the years, organizing 66 days of activities with 141 thematic conferences, and involving 1,000 volunteers. Its success continues to grow, thanks to the variety of events organized and the caliber of the guests invited to discuss scientific topics traditionally considered inaccessible to most.

The tenth edition of the festival is titled "Tracce." Many sponsors are supporting this new edition, which features a host of guests who will accompany the public on a journey to "learn to read the traces of history and imagine a better future".

The inauguration will take place on September 22nd at the Cinema Corso at 10:30 a.m. with TELMO PIEVIANI, an Italian philosopher specializing in evolution, who will speak on "Traces of Other Humanities". At 8:30 p.m., FEDERICO BENUZZI, a theoretical physicist and professor of mathematics and physics, as well as a professional juggler and actor, and LUCA PERRI, an astrophysicist and science communicator, will speak on "Problems of Esteem (Science for a More Informed Citizenship)."

And then there will be further distinguished guests who will continue until September 30th, such as EMILIO COZZI, journalist and author on technology and space topics, ALBERTO MANTOVANI, pathologist and immunologist, PAOLO CANOVA and DIEGO RIZZUTO (Taxi 1729), consultants and science communicators, DONATO GIOVANNELLI, scientist, researcher, full professor of microbiology at the University of Naples Federico II, MASSIMO TEMPORELLI, physicist and science communicator, MARIA GIOVANNA BELCASTRO, PAOLA GOVONI and GIOVANNA GUERZONI, professors at the University of Bologna.

DUNA Group is proud to support the principals, professors, and students who dedicate so much time and effort to designing and bringing to life this September event for scientific, technological, and cultural dissemination, aimed at and appreciated by the entire local community—students, residents, and businesses. Our respect and thanks go to them.

Turn off your TV and phones and let's meet at CarpInScienza!
