The DUNA Group is proud to sponsor the event organized by the Circolo Culturale Primo Piano of Correggio with Massimo Polidoro, writer, teacher, and science communicator. He will share with the audience a Lectio drawn from conversations with Piero Angela, with whom he has collaborated for many years becoming friends. The evening, titled "A Sense of Wonder," will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 9:00 PM in the splendid courtyard of Palazzo Principi in Correggio (RE). Free admission.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in the adjacent Conference Room of Palazzo Principi.

Once again, the DUNA Group is proud to sponsor the dynamic Circolo Culturale Primo Piano of Correggio, which organized the conference "A Sense of Wonder," featuring Massimo Polidoro, writer, teacher, and science communicator who collaborated with Piero Angela for many years.

And it was precisely from their conversations and long-standing friendship that the great science journalist's latest book, "The Wonder of Everything," was born, from which this Lectio is excerpted.

What has Piero Angela left us? What has he taught us? A great deal, starting with the fact that everything in life, every problem, must be approached with the rationality inherent in the scientific method. And without ever losing curiosity, humility, passion, and a sense of wonder.

Massimo Polidoro

A graduate in psychology and the author of over sixty books, he teaches science narratives at the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Padua. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Department of History of Science at Harvard University, is a Research Fellow at the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry in New York and is frequently invited to hold meetings and seminars in Europe and the United States. A longtime friend and collaborator of Piero Angela, he co-founded CICAP (Italian Committee for the Control of Claims About Pseudoscience) with him, Umberto Eco, and Margherita Hack. He then directed the "CICAP Fest" of science and curiosity for five years, featuring the most prominent figures in scientific research and culture. He was a regular at "Superquark" and, together with Angela, also wrote his last book, published posthumously: The Wonder of Everything (Mondadori, 2024).
