NIA’s 61st Annual Convention and WIACO
From 20th to 23rd April, the American National Insulation Association (NIA) arranged its 61st annual convention in the beautiful city of Boca Raton on Florida’s Atlantic Coast. Convention attendees represent all segments of the mechanical insulation industry; merit and union contractors, distributors, fabricators, laminators and manufacturers.
During this year’s annual convention, NIA hosted WIACO (World Insulation and Acoustic Conference), a global event is held every 4 years and alternates between Europe and the United States. NIA's Convention provides this opportunity at a national level—and by welcoming WIACO in 2016, at an international level as well.
NIA also welcomed member of the European Federation of Associations of Insulation Contractors (FESI); this Federation represents insulation associations from 16 European countries whose members are active in the field of technical insulation for the industrial and commercial building sector, ship insulation, soundproofing, and fire protection.
Among the panelists, this year NIA invited also our President & CEO Eng. Marta Brozzi; NIA has secured in fact top speakers from the industry, including CEOs and Presidents from NIA member manufacturing companies, who shared their expertise and insight on the opportunities and challenges of the global industry, as well as what the forecast looks like for the industry as a whole in the next 5 years, and beyond.
This broad representation of the industry allows attendees opportunities to gain new business contacts, network, and build important relationships.
