AIRC RECOGNIZES DUNA AS A "COMPANY SUPPORTING RESEARCH”

AIRC Foundation has recognized DUNA as a "Company Supporting Research". AIRC is the Italian Association for Cancer Research, founded by scientists Umberto Veronesi and Giuseppe Della Porta and active since 1965 in the field of cancer prevention and control.

For over 60 years, AIRC has cultivated an ambition that DUNA has fully embraced since 2018: make cancer increasingly curable. Through transparent and ongoing fundraising, AIRC finances innovative research projects, disseminates scientific information, and promotes a culture of prevention in homes, public squares, and schools. The Foundation embodies a long history of scientific and social commitment, made possible by the professionalism of over 6,000 researchers, the concrete work of thousands of volunteers, and donations from private individuals and companies.

Through its research and cultural promotion projects, the AIRC Association has earned the support of approximately 9,000 Italian companies over the years, eager to align their business strategies with an ethical, socially responsible vision that cares about the health of their communities and local areas. Among these is the DUNA Group, which has financially supported the foundation since 2018 and supports its efforts to spread a culture of prevention, highlighting AIRC communication and awareness campaigns within its own organization.
